Workshop On Hands-on Deep Learning Coding & Code Management

The Center for Computational & Data Sciences (CCDS) is pleased to announce a two-day workshop on “Hands-on Deep Learning Coding & Code Management” scheduled on February 16-17, 2024. Certificates will be awarded to individuals who successfully complete the program.

The workshop will be led and facilitated by

AKM Mahbubur Rahman, PhD, Director Data Science Wing, CCDS; Associate Professor, CSE, IUB

Day 1:  Feb 16, 2024

  • Session 1 (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) NumPy Recap, Image Classification (Linear model), MLP for Regression
  • Lunch Break
  • Session 2 (2:30 AM – 5:30 PM) Image Classification using CNN (Pytorch)

 

Day 2: Feb 17, 2024

  • Session 1 (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM):  Natural Language Processing using Transformer (Pytorch)
  • Lunch Break
  • Session 2 (2:30 AM – 5:30 PM): Deep Learning Code Management
Note:
  1. Background required: Programming experience in NumPy
  2. Kindly bring your own laptop for the workshop
