Computational and data-driven methodologies have emerged as one of the most promising paradigms in scientific research, decision-making, and strategic planning for business expansion and economic development. Keeping this in mind, in the year 2022 the Center for Computational & Data Sciences (CCDS) was established at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). The goal of this center is to do interdisciplinary research using data science and computational techniques, with a focus on the social and natural sciences. We offer cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence to get young researchers and professionals ready for the fourth industrial revolution. Moreover, to address the ever-changing virtual world and its socioeconomic significance, the center is dedicated to conducting research and developing personnel in the human-centric computer sector.

The center collaborates on research and training projects with several internationally recognized research institutes and researchers. Many of the center’s alumni are presently pursuing PhDs at some of the top 20 institutions in the world.
